The Cromwell is one my favorite boutique joints on the Strip. It's got a lot going for it, starting with it's primo location within easy walking distance of Caesars Palace & Bellagio. It is small, only six floors of rooms that open right in the middle of the casino. No long walks. Great pool on the roof with fantastic views. It's quiet during the day and Drae's at night. There are two craps tables running during the day, and four at night. It's notorious as a dark side joint, but I've had good success as a Right Sider there this summer. The dealers are relaxed, professional and easy to talk to. Servers are swift, and everyone is eager to please. Rooms are small and rather baroque in style. I like the deep reds and dark floors, though it might not be to everyone's taste. High end products in the bathroom, showers with smoky, see through windows, comfortable beds, and no night time noise makes for a good in-room experience. The hotel has a standing limo that will take you to other properties no charge if you're Seven Star. Giada's is upstairs and fantastic. Nice to have everything in such a compact little package. Try Giada's on a calm, clear night when they open the swing up windows, it really is one of the best views in Vegas.
